Harmon Quarter Horses is located in Chester, Montana at the heart of the Big Sky's Hi-Line.

We are a working cow-calf operation with our home place just south of town and our summer grass in the Sweet Grass Hills north of Chester.

Our goal is to produce good working ranch horses that have the athleticism and speed to be competitive in the arena. We have been raising Quarter Horses for over 25 years and realize what it takes to make a horse a working partner that will stay sound and functional for many years.

Our original broodmares carried the bloodlines of Vegas Hardway, Doc Bar, King, and Blondy's Dude. We added the bloodlines of Two Eyed Jack and Jag On with our original stallion,

Jack N Jag.  

                                                         The addition of Zippo Memorial      

to our breeding program brought in the Three Bars and Leo influence. By keeping daughters of Zippo Memorial we have created a solid based pedigree in our broodmares to compliment the bloodlines of Sun Frost, The Continental and Driftwood that our current sire, Dun Drift, carries. We are proud of the horses we raise. We love to show them off and share them with fellow horse enthusiasts.

We are members of the AQHA, the Montana Breeders Group, the NCSHA, and Dun Drift is Nominated to the Barrel Breeders Incentive. We have horses for sale at the ranch, on the web, and at the annual production sale of the Montana Breeders Group in Great Falls, Montana on Labor Day Sunday every year.
